Tony has been with Port-P for ten years, he enjoys working with colleagues and customers on a variety of different I.T projects providing support and solutions.
IT projects include Office 365, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. He is also responsible for maintaining Port-P’s internal IT systems as well as going on customer sites for IT installations. Tony holds a BSc in Computer Science and is VMware VCP-certified and holds a number of Hewlett Packard and Microsoft accreditations.
Tony relishes the different challenges and variety that his job brings: one moment he could be working on a customer project, the next he’s resolving an issue with an IT system. In autumn 2015 Tony was involved in managing Port-P’s office relocation to a new site in the centre of Birmingham. The goal was to relocate the entire business including furniture, phone and IT systems over a single weekend, minimising downtime. The relocation was completed a few hours ahead of schedule and everything was fully operational on the Monday morning.
Outside of work, Tony is a football fan and has been an Aston Villa season-ticket holder for a number of years, experiencing the highs and many lows of his club. In his spare time he also likes gaming, eating out and catching up with friends, as well as watching films and US TV dramas.
