Melissa has been with Port-P since 2004 and is mainly responsible for customer services. Generally, she is the first point of contact for clients who have any queries or problems with their orders.
Customer experience is very important to Port-P and Melissa prides herself on always doing her best to resolve any difficulties as quickly and efficiently as possible. She has received many compliments from customers over the years, expressing their happiness with the assistance received. In addition to the customer services role, Melissa is also involved in Sales Support role where she looks after her own set of customers and works alongside her colleagues to assist processing quotes and orders. This is a role that continues to evolve and Melissa is looking forward to helping develop this further.
Outside the office, apart from organising occasional social events for colleagues – summer drinks, anyone? – Melissa enjoys keeping fit. Her favourite activity is bootcamp classes three times a week, which is hard work but insists is fun, she is very much into running too and completed three half-marathons so far and hopes to do more in the future. Melissa also likes taking long walks with her dog – when he isn’t snoozing on the sofa – and loves spending weekends catching up with family and friends.
