In order to help you plan and design an optimal server virtualisation solution to achieve maximum performance Port-P offer a capacity planning service using the VMware Capacity Planner suite.
Our consultants can usually load the capacity planning software remotely or can attend site. Normally we need two computers, one on your network and another within your DMZ (if applicable). The VMware Capacity Planning software then collates data for one month to monitor CPU, memory and disk utilisation. This data is then analysed and a report presented to you.
This service carries a small charge that can be reimbursed if Port-P is engaged to deliver the server solution.
