The Select and Enterprise licenses provide a convenient and simple way to acquire software for medium to large businesses with more than 250 desktop computers to acquire the latest Microsoft technology available.
The cheapest form of license for businesses with 250 or more desktop computers to license is the enterprise subscription.
Software is rented for the license period after which the agreement can be renewed.
If it is not renewed before the license expires it will stop until renewed again. Smaller companies with less than 250 desktop computers to acquire licenses will benefit from the Open Licensing model.
There are many benefits including:
- Simplicity. Begin to use the software as soon as it is acquired through the select license pay as you go model.
- Affordable. Ability with three of the models to spread your payments over a period of three years, freeing up your cash flow.
- Flexibility. Worldwide partner channel so that you can gain access to thousands of different software titles and choose one of the four agreements to suit your business needs. How does it work?
In order to benefit from any of the four options you must have 250 desktop computers for which to buy licenses for. The licenses that you can purchase can come from a mix of products see the Microsoft Product List for Volume Licensing for more details on the products that can be licensed or contact one of Port-P’s team of Licensing Experts on 0121 262 6240 today.
How to pay?
When purchasing a license from the select or enterprise options the prices are fixed this means that the business can realise its budget knowing that the price is not going to change.
With a Select license, Select Plus and Enterprise Agreement you own the license at the end of the three years; whereas with an enterprise subscription you pay to rent the license for three years which provides low entry cost.
Software assurance is included or can come as an optional extra on all licenses meaning you can keep up to date with the latest software releases.
