Nick started with Port-P all the way back on October 6th, 1998 as a fresh-faced 22-year-old IT graduate. Since then Nick has primarily been involved in sales to corporate clients, supplying solutions, products and licensing. Nick also collaborates within the acquisition team to drive business development, new client solutions and relationships. Over the years he has built up an array of Tier 1 manufacturer accreditations from the likes of Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Dell, VMware and Microsoft, giving him the broad-based expertise to devise the best solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
Having a happy client is always Nick’s priority and he prides himself on listening and thinking outside the box in order to exceed expectations: anything from driving down budget expenditure to helping with long-term strategy, designing a new solution, consolidating a customer’s server environment or simply looking at any ideas that will help improve a situation. His success was demonstrated in Port-P’s recent customer feedback survey, with Nick receiving one of the highest satisfaction ratings. He has a can-do attitude to which clients respond.
Personally, Nick has always had a passion for music. Over the years this has given him the opportunity to perform locally, around the UK and also to travel abroad. He is an avid reader, constantly learning about historical and contemporary world events and social economics. Now he is on the other side of his mid-life crisis he tells us that he wants to give something back to society and help make the world a fairer place.
