Melissa has been with Port-P since 2004 and is mainly responsible for customer services. Generally, she is the first point of contact for clients who have any queries or problems with their orders.
Customer experience is very important to Port-P and Melissa prides herself on always doing her best to resolve any difficulties as quickly and efficiently as possible. She has received many compliments from customers over the years, expressing their happiness with the assistance received. In addition to the customer services role Melissa is also involved in looking after the purchase ledger and works closely with her colleagues and suppliers to resolve issues in this area of the business.
Outside the office, apart from organising occasional social events for colleagues – summer drinks, anyone? – Melissa enjoys keeping fit. Her current favourite activity is bootcamp classes three times a week, which is hard work but, she insists, also great fun. Melissa also likes taking long walks with her dog – when he isn’t snoozing on the sofa – and loves spending weekends catching up with family and friends.
